As I sit for the VCLA today, I pray that my students, fellow future teachers and God use me to accomplish His/Their worthy goals. I pray the bondage of self be erradicated and eliminated so that other's and His will may be better and more efficiently achieved. Finally, I ask that my personal difficulties be removed so that others may see His motives through me as well as His Love, Power and Way of Life. Allah be praised. Shalom.

I pray for Brandon A. that he cease smoking marijuana at the age of 16, that he find a release from boredom in general and using it as an excuse, and that God show him other ways of living so that he may choose the right one for his Mother (RIP), his father, his friends and those who love Brandon.

Please pray that I stay sober (am 2 years and nine days in AA with a sponsor), that my move to Gate City, VA goes well and that my mother and brother get to know me as they only knew the me that drank copiously. I pray that every US citizen in the US and abroad who can vote, first, registers, second, gets their card, votes on Tues and then hugs everybody regardless of the party and makes this country great again.

I request prayer that I guide a woman whom I just met who was hitchhiking after her husband left her on the Interstate. Then, we paired with a man who is hiking around the US. What a motley crew, including me. God, I ask for knowledge to carry out Your will. Thy will be done, not mine. Amen. I will pray for all of you and stay sober for the net 24 hours.

I pray for continued sobriety, entry to a Master's program so that I may teach languages (Spanish) and tranquility in my relations,particularly those who upon seeing me for the first time in 14 years. Amen. I will pray for you, particularly those plagued by addictions which may or may not lead you to God as you understand Him.

Praying for a partner with whom I can share life, adopt children, work and promote a peaceful and useful life for our families amidst the chaos of this crisis which is far from economic. It is a moral crisis associated not with money,but the LOVE of money and not people.

Please pray that a dream of mine and that of a colleague to have an internet cafe with literary sources and other needs in a small town in the South come to fruition according to the plan of God/Universe.
