Lord, please hear our pleas for a cure for the Coronavirus. Please keep our families safe from harm, sickness and pain. Please be with the hospital staff, and all essential employees. This is a very scary time, please help us have a calm heart and mind. Amen.

I posted yesterday about my teenagers crush. He told her today he doesn’t feel the same and only wants to be friends. My heart is broken for her. She deserves happiness. She deserves love. I pray she can move on quickly and painlessly.

Although this may sound trivial or silly, I pray that my daughter does not get her heartbroken from this new guy she is interested in. She has fallen quickly and hard for him and she has had some heartbreak in the past. I would like to see her happy, she is such a hardworking, funny, smart, beautiful deserving girl. I pray the feelings are reciprocated and if not I hope she’s able to heal and move forward.

Please pray for my teenager. She’s struggling with friendships- she thinks acquaintances are “close friends” almost immediately because she’s so anxious for real friendships. I pray she’s able to make and keep good friends who are good examples, good students, active in clubs and school activities. She’s missing out on school events because she has no friends to attend with. It seems like she is always an afterthought or forgotten. She’s an amazing girl. I pray she knows how to also BE a good friend.
