Please pray for my husband, Jim, who broke his right hip and his pelvis on 14 June 2015. He was in one of our local hospitals here from 14 - 22 June 2015. He was then transferred to a Rehabilitation Facility on 22 June 2015. He had to go BACK to the hospital on 18 JULY 2015. He had a High fever and went by ambulance to the hospital. Blood tests showed he had a Urinary Tract infection, and the blood tests also showed he had Sepsis - an infection in his Blood. He was placed on a "Strong" antibiotic called Rocephe from 19 July - 23 July 2015 while he was in the hospital. He was also dehydrated when he came to the hospital- his blood pressure was 80/60. He was immediately placed on fluids by way of a IV line. He also has had problems swallowing his beverages and swallowing his food. His doctor at the hospital ordered the Speech Therapy department to come see him. An "Esophagus Video" was ordered which took pictures of my husband swallowing when he drank beverages or ate something. The Esophagus video showed: He was aspirating(liquids were going into his lungs). A special powder called "Nectar Thickener" was added to his beverages and his food had to be pureed(but through a blender). He can eat and drink now, but has to eat and drink "slowly." He was transferred back to the Rehabilitation Facility on 23 July and was placed on a strong antibiotic called Levaquin, and is Still on it - Today being 1 August. He started Physical Therapy on his neck and limited range of motion exercises on his legs again, and resumed Occupational (Upper body, arms , shoulders, hands) Therapy, and is now taking Speech Therapy. He was diagnosed with Frontal Lobe Dementia back in January 2014- which can affect ability to speak(speech), affect ability to make decisions concerning financial matters, affect a person's judgment in making decisions, affect ability to care for oneself physically(need help bathing, dressing, can eventually need help with eating their meals(need assistance by nurse/nurse assistant with feeding) and affects a person's balance(causing falls) and affects muscle tone/skin tone, and can affect a person's ability to gain weight - even though the person may have a good appetite(which my husband Jim has a good appetite), however, he has lost weight from 137 pounds(weighed this on 14 June 2015, and now weighs 116 pounds. Please pray for a "MIRACLE HEALING" for Jim. I am believing for a "TOTAL" BODY, AND TOTAL HEALING OF MY HUSBAND'S MIND TO BE "RESTORED." THERE IS "NOTHING" IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!
Also Pray for me, (Carol -Jim's wife) as I had a Colonoscopy on 29 July 2015 - The doctors removed 3 polyps from my colon and have sent them off to be tested. I have been having terrible stomach pain for about 6 weeks or more with alternating diarrhea and constipation. Pray for a "Miracle Healing" for me also. I "KNOW" God does MIRACLES because in January 2016, I will be 13 YEARS - CANCER-FREE - Having been diagnosed in 2003 with Stage 3 Lymphoma(Cancer of the Lymph glands) in 4 places in my body. "OUR "GOD" IS A "MIRACLE WORKING" GOD! "WITH MEN, THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE, "BUT" WITH "GOD" "ALL" THINGS ARE "POSSIBLE!" (Matthew 19: verse 26)
