I am very sorry to hear of the unspeakable pain you must be going through.. I too understand what it's like to see loved ones struggling bc of substance abuse as well. 💔
But the best advice I could give would be to get this book called, "Changes That Heal" by Dr. Henry Cloud. it truly is a good book that has really helped change my life. And I believe it could really help you as well.

Maria, please try to Stay strong in your faith, and Trust God's words no matter what. I know it can be challenging sometimes, but the enemy is only trying to weaken & destroy your faith in Jesus Christ. But just tell him that he has to Go! And to take his sickness & infirmity with him- because he is Not Welcome, and that this will only serve to Strengthen your Faith even More. Speak only Wellnes over yourself, and continue to Press on thru the power of the Holy Spirit. Continue to focus only on the blesssings of This Present Day.. because we all are so blessed with the gift of another wonderful day!...Help us all to stay focused on you Lord. Taking only one step at a time- and to always remember to Thank You for walking w/us, and for choosing US first before we ever Knew You...

I also ask that You help Maria to continue staying strong in her faith in You Lord Jesus- and to boldly rebuke the enemy and remind him that his days are numbered.
