I have several drug addicts in my family. A sister who has died from a fentanyl overdose, who leaves behind 4 kids, and another sister who has been on methadone since this past August after being homeless and on heroin for almost 10 years. This is the best she’s done in a long time. Please pray for her legs and scars to heal and for her to be able to feel beautiful again. She has three children that she does not have custody of. I am the youngest of three girls.

We also have a cousin who is like a brother to us who has been clean for a year but over medicates on his prescriptions. I took him in over the holidays but after 2 months we couldn’t do it anymore with him in our home with our 4 kids. We paid for him to go to a recovery house for 2 months. He should use this time to work etc.. please pray that he can manage his meds correctly and that he gets along with his housemates enough for them to offer him work. If this doesn’t work out he will be homeless again.

Please pray for me that I can handle the loss of these loved ones while although some are still here, the burden of the irreparable damage on their minds, body, and life is a big strain on my heart. I have never done hard drugs and our parents did not raise us this way. It’s very sad. Please pray for my parents as well. It will mean a lot to us!
