How I Was Healed : Beauty & Restoration

I love your story of beauty and restoration one girl said to me after speaking to a bunch of college bound University of Maryland Students . They were all very beautiful but they were all very green and prone to the heartbreaks of college life and the memorabilia of what I call pre- woman hood. We, the older ladies some us whom were doctors, lawyers, engineers, and one economist, and even a firefighters who were also present were asked to speak to encourage these little angels as they stepped into there next faze of life. As I spoke into their gazing brown eyes; I learned instantaneously that those women of today and tomorrow were eager to learn from me as a mother, a wife and a friend. I became thrilled but I did not show it. I had to show those little women of tomorrow what "love" could be and what they thought love looked like even within the walls of a classroom. Their emotions were very impressionable and spurned me into a world of blissful teaching and that is how I am embraced my calling. You know a true calling never leaves you once it is within. It always dances in the air as you speak and even before you enter a room. Your calling goes before you. End of discussion. The mothers of those young ladies were so majestically kind in spirit when they heard me talk to their daughters because they knew oh so well that I had spoken to their child's will, mind and emotions and that in of itself; I as a mother can say its a gift. I was blessed and healed that day and will be forever because of that chapter of life and journey down the road of tenacity and love for building our young women to not fall by the way side and be weakened by the sting of a very unkempt and degrading professional life after such a rigorous and wonderful education at the University of Maryland . I am so blessed. Beauty and Restoration lives on.
