Please pray for my loving aunt, Glenna, who faced surgery earlier today and is battling cancer, to the best of my knowledge. Also, I am at a crossroads in my life with a flat in Spain and a desire to spend more time in the US. Having been in the small town where I was born in VA for some time now, I am pretty sure that small town life is not for me as I have lived in urban environments since 1986. God has a plan for us all. I also enjoy helping people and only aspire to have a middle class, calm life without devoting my life to my job which I did for years. I work to live better, not live to work. I am grateful for sobriety, my health and a loving family and friends throughout the US and Western Europe. Amen. Namaste. I am asking that God' will be done in setting up my educational travel company so that Americans can get to know Valencia and its culture and learn some Spanish. God, as I soon travel to Europe in parts where the economic crisis has decimated lives, I thank you for the money, little as it may be, that I have earned through YOu. I ask that you bless Pesho, a Bulgarian affected by this crisis who has a father suffering from cancer. Yaweh, I ask that you remember the following: Randall who is Glenda's cousin in the burn unit, Gladys who is starting an NGO in Cameroon, her home country, Bernardo who is starting life again in Ibiza, Pesho who can not find work in Bulgaria and is living as a squatter in Barcelona, his father who is suffering from prostate cancer, Nick Crisci's daughter who is suffering from a rare disease, Pierrine who continues to work as a single mother at a UN agency, Shirley who is suffering from dementia at sundown, Brenda who is eccentric and has several legal battles, all of the towns that are almost ghost towns from downsizing and globalization. Remember the US which can be filled with spoiled people at times that have much in relations to African or Central American countries, but can whine, grumble and complain as if they were spoiled or entitled. Remember Sudan and Venezuala. Remember my brother as he helps me through mild depression and bi-polar disorder. Hola, I ask that you pray for my friend from the UNHCR. His cancer is in remission; praise be to God. Now, his daughter is suffering a dis-ease which, obviously COULD or COULD NOT contribute to his cancer's returning. Let God's will be done as he has helped so many young people, refugees and me as a colleague. Also, another ex-colleague from Cameroon has set up an NGO to assist with women's needs in Cameroon. Let God direct her and me as I analyze and help to meet the NGO's financial needs. My mother was a single mother from the age of 29 with two children, depression, aching periods and later, a heavy work schedule at a factory. Women are strong and needed as written in Vital Voices by Ms. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Pray that God bridle my tongue as I move back to my hometown in the Buckle of the Bible Belt, Kingsport, TN. Having been away for about 34 years (over half of my life), it is trying to see the religious zealots, the poverty, the mental illness, the layoffs, and the rich getting richer.

After a mild depression, I am now rising from the ashes to form a company which will be in the educational travel sector. It will be not for profit, designed to give the unemployed, hopeful for the future and hopeless now young an opportunity and shares, and will rejuvenate my hometown and adopted hometown, Valencia, Spain. Please pray for my aunt Janice who buried her son last week. She is challenged with COPD, no health insurance and polio. Also, my friend Lee's father is in Stage IV lung cancer. Pray for my friends and me who are following the Twelve Steps seeking solace and relief from addictive behavior.

I pray that my Portuguese friend can stop smoking tobacco and hash. I also ask God to give him a fulfilling job. May God give me the strength to support him emotionally and financially without arguing and criticizing. I am not to judge anyone.

I ask that you pray that I receive strength to overcome a block that I have with this life. I do not seem to be able to find fulfilling work which is creating a high level of boredom. Thank you,
