I ask for thoughts and prayers, for my son, who is struggling with drug addiction, be shown a path of His healing love. However great the road, or dim the light, I pray my son will be guided by His mercy and comfort. God, I know that You will walk beside him, and I thank You Lord for not leaving him alone. May Your presence give him strength enough to navigate the path, and the courage to continue when it seems to be at its darkest. I pray that he trust in You as I do, because I know it is You that will place him safely on the path and with as much road ahead as You see fit that he must journey. I thank You Lord for any light at all, if just enough to begin. Amen
