Dear Heavenly Father,

He is struggling so deeply in grief. Please provide him shelter, peace and healing within your love as he walks this path after the passing of his brother far too soon. Remind him of the love you have for him and how he and his brother and family will always be held in your grace and that he has more work to do in his time here. Most importantly rid him of the fear that he holds some responsibility in his passing. You called him home, please provide peace for him knowing your timing is always perfect even if we cannot fully understand in our earthly suffering and that it only draws us closer to you.

I pray he takes this time away to draw nearer to you as I do the same separately. I pray and I submit that if it is your will, the connection and care between us will withstand this season and we one day will get to come together and reconvene such a loving relationship grounded firstly in our faith and love for you.

I give my worries and anxieties to you as I know I love him and wish I could only do more- but I trust that in my limitations lay your greatest strengths.
