My name is David, and I request Prayer for my daughter Hanna and I. We live in Missouri, and she has met someone online from South Carolina. She is 20, still lives at home — which if fine. But I feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE ABOUT THIS SITUATION. I’ve never talked to the individual, don’t even know his last name to run a background check. All I know is: his first name is Cane who is 23, he used to live in California, his dad committed suicide, he lives with his mom, and they are not on the same page.
I raised her in a church, she knows what it means to be “Born Again”, at one time she could quite the 10 Commandments and the 66 books of the Bible. But she acts as if she wants to drive this distance (1000 plus miles) pick him up and bring him back. Then he stays with one of her friends, and they move to Saint Louis. I know this is very detailed, but I need all the Prayers I can get. I’m going to schedule an appointment with a therapist tomorrow. She’s my only child, I know we’ll never be confronted with more than we can handle. But my Faith is really being tested. Please put me on every Prayer List you can think of, because I feel like the roaring lion is trying to devour me.
